I'm ok, family's ok, as far as I know all friends and family are ok. It's terrifying and awful to see this level of destruction, and to be so close to it. Emma and I were lunching in Cashel Mall when it hit, and the thick cloud of dust and fallen buildings around us were right there. Emma and Brendon's flat collapsed completely - so so lucky that no-one died in that, including the family of three that were in the ground floor flat. They got out due to a couch that flipped, but otherwise would have been crushed.
